It is played by millions of people in a variety of ways, including at home with friends, online with strangers, and at major poker tournaments. However, poker isn\u2019t just about winning money, it also teaches valuable life skills that can be applied to business and other aspects of your life.<\/p>\n<p>It builds confidence and tenacity, which is something women need more of in the workplace. It encourages aggressive play, which can help you succeed in business negotiations and other situations where it\u2019s important to push for what you want. It teaches you how to read opponents and understand their motivations, and it provides opportunities to practice your attention to detail and ability to assess risks versus rewards.<\/p>\n<p>The game of poker uses a standard pack of 52 cards, plus one or more jokers (depending on the variant).
